Holy Week at Home in 2020

As we approach Holy Week 2020 even though we are separated we are not alone.

We can follow the services from our local churches using our Facebook link assetflogolg

You don't need a facebook account to follow the services. Just ignore the banner at the bottom of the page asking you to log in or create an account.

Mass will be live-streamed at 10 am, every Sunday to Wednesday, starting on Palm Sunday.

For The Easter Triduum the following Masses will be available:

Holy Thursday: Commemoration of the Last Supper at 7 pm

Good Friday Service: Commemoration of the Passion at 3 pm

Easter Saturday Vigil: 9 pm

Easter Sunday: 10 am

The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle has produced a free resource to help us to experience and celebrate Holy Week.

It includes a message from Bishop Robert Byrne, Reflections for Holy week from Father Sean Hall, Dispensation from Easter Duties, Messages from Rome and links to useful resources to help us in this difficult time.

You can link to it here to read or print it out.
