Journey of Faith

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

If you are not Catholic but would like to explore the possibility of being part of the Church or you may have lapsed for a long time and would like to return to practise your faith then this Journey of Faith is for you and we will welcome you along.

The RCIA programme has begun. There was an introductory evening for everyone present, exploring what will happen over the months until the Celebration of the Easter Vigil on 20 April 2019.

There will be a programme of weekly sessions for everyone, and a note of where the gatherings will take place. Please let anyone know who has shown interest in what the Catholic Faith is about, and obviously others are welcome to have the opportunity for a bit of renewal. It’s fascinating and can be good fun.

The sessions in November are at 7.45pm on Thursdays at St Cuthbert’s, Chester - le - Street and in December at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Penshaw.

Please come along, you will be made very welcome, it’s fascinating and can be good fun.
